An Ohio native, Katelyn began her arts studies in the theater. Earning her BFA in Stage Design from the University of Cincinnati: College-Conservatory of Music (CCM). During her time at CCM, she worked for the Cincinnati Shakespeare Company, The Williamstown Theatre Festival, New York Stage and Film and the Cincinnati Opera over the summers. After graduating from CCM, she turned her focus to film where she relocated to Los Angeles to attend The American Film Institute Conservatory and earned an MFA in Production Design.

Currently a member of The Art Directors Guild (Local 800)
as an Art Director.
